My Dad came for a visit for a couple of days and brought his boat with him. The weather was in the high 70′s so we were able to enjoy one last outing at Higgins Lake. There are splashes of color that remind us that Fall is just about here. Cooler weather is forecast for the coming week. Our warm weather fun in the lake has come to an end once again.

I don’t wanna! (Say goodbye to summer that is.) That looks like a fun day for all of you. We enjoyed our time with you all up there. It is so beautiful. We also appreciated all of your hospitality (especially your baking). Tell all of the kids we said hello. We are all planning on going to the MARBC conference on Tuesday this year. Hope to see you there! –Jennifer
Wow, what fun… so happy that your dad was able to come and share his boat… Reminds me of when I was in the fifth grade and lived at the Sister Lakes, in MI. Every weekend we had company…
My Uncle Bill and Aunt Betty had a big boat and we had great times.
Nice pictures.
Love you all,
Dear Carolyn,
It is so nice to read your posts and picture you and the family. I really have been convicted about my tongue and how I just say things to the children without thinking about how they feel. Please pray for me.
Love
Mel
