Today, Taylor, Jacob, Zachary and Josiah joined me for a walk on the lake. Taylor was a good sport and a good big brother and pulled Zack and J.D. on the sled.

From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised!
Kevin, Luke and I walked on the lake to a little park. In warm weather we like to ride our bikes to that park and swim. It was lots of fun walking on the lake. We saw several snowmobilers and lots of ice fishermen. It’s a gorgeous February day and it was so refreshing to get outside and enjoy God’s beautiful creation.

Yesterday afternoon I took the kids to a nearby park to ice skate. Jacob, Luke and Taylor all skated and the rest of the kids had fun sliding around on the ice and playing in the snow.

It’s a sunny and beautiful February day. Compared to the very cold weather we’ve had lately, the current 21 degrees seems pretty nice. Zachary and I enjoyed a walk this afternoon. We walked on the lake a little bit and some on the trail.

We saw lots of ice shanties on the lake today. The ice is definitely solid now!
We even saw a Christmas tree on the lake.
