From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised!
I had lots of walking buddies join me this morning. It’s another beautiful day and Luke, Nick, Zack and Josiah found lots of interesting things to check out during our walk.

Luke and I walked to the lake this morning. It’s a beautiful day. It’s supposed to get up to 86 degrees.

Yesterday morning I walked to the lake and enjoyed a beautiful sunrise.
Kevin and I enjoyed a nice trip to Chicago where he attended a pastor’s conference at Moody Bible Institute. The weather was warm and sunny. We did lots of walking and I especially enjoyed walking along the Navy Pier. Chicago is a totally different world than where I live.
On Saturday evening, Kevin M. built our first fire of the season. The kids enjoyed roasting marshmallows and making s’mores.
This afternoon Taylor, Kristi and I rode bikes. We checked out the lake and Kristi and I spotted some pretty wildflowers growing along the trail.
I didn’t walk this morning but did ride bikes this evening with Nick and Zack. We rode to the park after supper. It felt good to get some fresh air and exercise.

My family treated me well on Mother’s Day. I’m so thankful for my husband and children. God has blessed me with a wonderful family.
