Wildflowers
Friday, June 29th, 2007As I was walking this morning I enjoyed seeing many pretty wildflowers along the way.
These flowers were closed when I began walking but on my return home the sun was higher in the sky and they had opened.

We picked Luke and Jake up from camp on Saturday. Apparently they had too much fun, because they were very tired when they got home. Kevin’s parents arrived that afternoon and we enjoyed a nice visit with them.

Josiah walked with me this morning. My walks take longer with him but I get to enjoy his happy chatter. When we got back home he said, “I think we were walking for four or five hours.”

While I was walking along the trail this morning, I noticed these pretty wildflowers. They provided a colorful contrast to the greens and browns of the woods.
I went for a bike ride this evening with Kevin and Taylor. Yesterday was hot and humid so the cooler weather today was a nice change.

Instead of walking this morning, I went for a bike ride with Luke. We saw several other people out walking and riding bikes enjoying the beautiful morning.

It was another nice warm day so we went to the lake this afternoon.

I took the kids to the lake yesterday afternoon for the first time this season. We all had lots of fun in the water and in the sand. It was a beautiful day to enjoy the lake.
