From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised!
We got some snow last night and some more has been falling today so Luke, Jacob, Nicholas, Zachary and Josiah went out to clear the sidewalk, porch and drive. As the saying goes, “many hands makes light the work” and in a short time the job was done.

Josiah and Zachary bundled up and went outside on this very cold day. They had nice new hats Grandma made to keep their heads warm.

It’s a beautiful start to 2008 here in Northern Michigan. I was glad to be able to get my year off to a good start with a walk this morning. Now I just need to get more practice in on my cross country skis so I can work that into my exercise routine. Kevin and the 3 oldest boys enjoyed the trails yesterday.
