Operation Christmas Child

After church this morning, the kids and teens stayed for lunch and then we packed shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. We have fun packing boxes each year for this neat ministry.

Josiah, Luke, Nicholas, Zachary, (all he wants for Christmas is his two front teeth) Kristi and Jacob

I forgot to get a picture of the whole crew that helped but got one of my kids before we left.

Snowy Morning

I enjoyed walking while the snow was falling this morning. When I got back home, Zachary was outside having some fun in the snow. He even had his snowboard out but it’s a bit early yet for that.

Snow!

Zachary and Josiah are happy to see the snow falling today.

Hartwick Pines

We went to Hartwick Pines this afternoon to take advantage of the nice weather. It won’t be long until the cold and snow are here to stay.

Tying Shoes

The kids and I went to Hartwick Pines this afternoon and it seemed like Josiah was spending a lot of time tying his shoes. Kristi came to his rescue and tied them so they wouldn’t keep coming undone.

Another Beautiful November Day

We’ve been enjoying some great weather here the last few days. The high today is supposed to be 70 degrees. Kristi joined me for my walk this morning. It was a pretty morning.

Hike

Yesterday was such a nice day that the kids and I decided to go for a hike on the trails at Marl Lake. It was in the 60′s and sunny – a perfect day for hiking since it wasn’t too hot or too cold.
