    Am I right, I heard this week that Higgins Lake isn’t very deep? What is the depth of the lake? Great pictures Carolyn!!!!

    Thanks Evelyn. Actually Higgins Lake is quite deep. Its maximum depth is 135 feet. It is very shallow near the shore and stays shallow for a good distance out which makes it nice for swimming with the kids. Houghton Lake which is just south of us, is a shallow lake. The deepest part there is 22 feet.
