Zachary and I went for a bike ride after supper last night and spotted some wildflowers along the trail. The kids discovered a Robin’s nest in the shrub in front of our house.

After a couple of rainy days I was happy to see the sun this morning. It was a beautiful morning for a walk.

It’s so nice to see lots of green again.
Back Home
I enjoyed our trip to Chicago last week but it’s good to be back home. Kevin, Kristi and I went for a walk this morning. It’s a beautiful day and everything is looking lots greener. I enjoyed hearing the chirping of birds instead of traffic noise and seeing lots of greenery instead of concrete. I’m blessed to live where I do.
John Hancock Center
Kevin and I enjoyed some spectacular views of Chicago and Lake Michigan from the observatory on the 94th floor of the John Hancock Center this afternoon.

I went for a bike ride with Jake, Nick and Zach. It was windy but it felt good to get some fresh air and exercise. We spotted some flowers growing along the trail.
