The guys made some corn hole boards and we’ve had fun playing it lately.

With warm temperatures this week we sure have been enjoying the lake.

As usual, there was lots of beauty to enjoy on my walk this morning.

It’s nice and warm here today. Luke, Zachary and I went for a walk this morning. We saw lots of chipmunks and wildflowers. We saw lots of birds, a duck and some fish. On the way home we saw a butterfly. It’s a beautiful summer day!

Yesterday, Luke had an eye appointment in Traverse City. Jacob tagged along to the Dr. visit. On our way home we took our time and stopped at a scenic overlook we’ve passed many times. There was a good sized hill there, that we hiked and then we stopped in Kalkaska at a dollar store. After stopping for supper at McDonalds we headed home. It’s good to not always be in a hurry and to take time to enjoy the journey.

Summer officially arrived yesterday. We are having great weather today and it looks like a nice week is in store. Taylor joined me for my walk this morning.

We had beautiful weather yesterday for Kevin’s open house.

We went to the lake yesterday evening for the first time this season. The kids got in the water and did some swimming but I only got in up to my knees. I’ll wait for warmer water to swim.

Jacob, Nicholas, Zachary and I went for a bike ride last night after supper.
