Zachary and Josiah made pancakes for breakfast yesterday. It was very cold yesterday morning. Later in the afternoon when it was warmer, I walked with Zachary and Josiah to the hill by the trail where I walk so they could do some sledding.
Afternoon Walk
It’s a cold but beautiful day here. Luke, Nick, Zach, Josiah and I walked to the lake this afternoon.
Snow!
We got lots of snow yesterday and last night. It was nice to wake up to a Winter Wonderland!
Snowy Day
We finally got a decent amount of snow. We’ve hardly had any this season so it was nice to see the snow falling today. Luke, Jacob and I went for a walk to the lake and enjoyed the beautiful snowy scenery.
More Like Winter
Yesterday we got a little more snow. Luke finally got to use our new large snow shovel . We really didn’t have enough snow to put it to use prior to yesterday. When I walked to the lake yesterday morning, I noticed more ice forming. There is still lots of open water though. After the mild weather we’ve had lately, it’s starting to feel more like a typical winter.
Walk
Kevin M. and I went for a walk this afternoon. The lake isn’t frozen yet but we did see a little icy slush near the shore.
Christmas Tree
We got our Christmas tree last night and the kids helped me decorate it today. It’s a beautiful Douglas Fir.
