It was cold when I went for my walk this morning - only 9 degrees. Thankfully I was bundled up and stayed warm. When I got home the younger boys were busy clearing snow from the driveway and van. We sure are having a snowy November!
While I was walking this morning I noticed a couple of deer sitting in the woods. I stopped and looked right at them and they were looking right back at me. I was hoping to get a picture of them but by the time I got my camera out and ready, they took off. I realized there were four of them. I got a picture of three of the deer when I walked back by but they were further away so the picture isn’t the greatest.
We woke up this morning to a fresh coat of snow. I enjoyed the beauty of it while I walked and the little guys were anxious to get outside and enjoy it.
I enjoyed walking while the snow was falling this morning. When I got back home, Zachary was outside having some fun in the snow. He even had his snowboard out but it’s a bit early yet for that.
We went to Hartwick Pines this afternoon to take advantage of the nice weather. It won’t be long until the cold and snow are here to stay.
We’ve been enjoying some great weather here the last few days. The high today is supposed to be 70 degrees. Kristi joined me for my walk this morning. It was a pretty morning.
We didn’t get much but we got our first snow of the season yesterday.

There is still some color left to enjoy when I walk in the mornings but many leaves have fallen and some of the trees are bare now. It was chilly walking today but pretty.

Last Friday, Kevin and I spent the day enjoying Mackinac Island. We took our bikes and rode the 8 miles around the island. The views were beautiful. The weather was great. We splurged on some fudge and taffy to take home and share with the kids.
It was a treat to walk this morning and see all of the color. We’ve been enjoying some beautiful October days. It’s been in the 70’s the last few days and supposed to be there again today.
