The skies are blue, the sun is shining and there is more green in the landscape. It’s a beautiful day!
Another Beautiful Day!
The sunrise was beautiful again this morning. I love this time of year!
Mother’s Day
I had a wonderful Mother’s Day yesterday. My family was very good to me. The weather was beautiful. They fixed a nice lunch for me and gave me several nice cards and gifts. Some of the kids and I played games outside. After supper Taylor drove Jacob, Nicholas, Zachary, Josiah and me to South Higgins Lake State Park where we enjoyed watching the sunset. We saw a Great Blue Heron and the kids spotted some fish. On the way home we saw a raccoon and several deer. It was a great end to a great day. I am blessed.
Campfire
Yesterday was sunny and nice so we enjoyed spending quite a bit of time outdoors. Kevin M. built a fire for us and we cooked our supper over the fire. It looks like we are in store for another nice day!
Cloudy Morning
It was very cloudy when I started my walk this morning. We got a little bit of rain over night. While I was by the lake the sun broke through the clouds. It’s nice to see lots of buds popping out on the trees.
Picnic
The kids and I wanted to take advantage of this nice day so we packed lunches and rode our bikes to the park. We enjoyed beautiful Higgins Lake while we ate. It was a bit windy by the lake but we didn’t mind.
May Flowers
While we were riding along the trail today, Zachary noticed some wildflowers. He stopped, assuming I would want to take some pictures of them. It’s always a pleasant surprise to spot wildflowers growing when I’m out for a walk or bike ride.
Start of A Nice Day
After a cool and cloudy day yesterday we have a warm, sunny day in store today.
