It was a beautiful morning for my walk. I noticed some leaves changing colors. Fall will be here soon.
I finally got my normal morning walk in today after being on vacation and out of my regular routine. It was a cloudy beautiful morning.
We went to Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek on Friday and then spent our weekend visiting family. It was a nice ending to our vacation.
We camped last week at Clear Lake State Park. The weather was beautiful and we had lots of fun on my Dad’s boat. We enjoyed some swimming, kayaking, biking, walking, boating and tubing.
Today is a rainy day which is good since we need the rain. Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day and a very pretty morning when I took my walk.
Two days ago, Nicholas and I dropped Luke and Jacob off at Camp Barakel for the final week of camp. They are there working this week. We got to see Kevin M. and Kristi for a bit. On our way home I stopped at the Dairy Ace in Mio and treated Nick to an ice-cream cone. It was a beautiful day for a drive. Luke and Jacob will be returning home on Saturday and Kevin and Kristi on Sunday. Summer is going so quickly!
Saturday evening we took turns going for a ride on my Dad’s boat which he is letting us borrow for a bit. It was lots of fun
Yesterday morning when I walked there were lots of clouds in the sky and it started raining. The rain didn’t last too long though and mid-morning some friends took us out on their boat and the boys did lots of fishing. It was a beautiful day. Zachary’s 20 inch fish was the biggest catch of the day. Nick’s 20 fish was the highest total of fish caught. Josiah came close to Nick’s total with 18 fish caught. Zachary had a line with double hooks and caught two fish at once two different times.
We eat lots of birthday cake in July. Josiah, Luke and Nicholas were all born in the same month. Josiah’s birthday is the last one we celebrate in July. He turned 10 on July 31.
July has gone by way too fast! We got some much needed rain last night. It was another beautiful morning for a walk.
