It was cold this morning when I walked but beautiful! I wouldn’t want cold weather all the time but it was invigorating to walk in it today.
Snowy Day
We finally got a decent amount of snow. We’ve hardly had any this season so it was nice to see the snow falling today. Luke, Jacob and I went for a walk to the lake and enjoyed the beautiful snowy scenery.
More Like Winter
Yesterday we got a little more snow. Luke finally got to use our new large snow shovel . We really didn’t have enough snow to put it to use prior to yesterday. When I walked to the lake yesterday morning, I noticed more ice forming. There is still lots of open water though. After the mild weather we’ve had lately, it’s starting to feel more like a typical winter.
White Christmas?
We don’t have a lot of snow but we did get a little bit last night. I’m hoping we’ll have some snow for Christmas.
Spring Fever
Yesterday was a nice warm day for this time of year. It got into the 50s so the boys and I rode our bikes to the park. It was my first bike ride this year. We are enjoying the warmer weather and looking forward to Spring!
Signs of Spring
We’re three days from the official start of spring. Temperatures have been higher, snow is melting, my kids have been riding their bikes again and we’re enjoying more daylight. I’m ready to say good-bye to winter and hello to spring.
Evening Walk
Last night after supper I had enough time to walk before the sun set. I love this time of year when days grow longer.
Patch of Blue
It was cloudy when I walked this morning so I was glad to see a bit of blue sky peeking through the clouds.
