I love it! For a week now, my mind has been tossing around “urgent brilliance” and “brilliant urgency” to describe the color of these trees. I’m not sure which I prefer, but it speaks to me either way.
The leaves on the trees down south just weren’t this way. They had a subtlety to them, which they can afford, knowing they’ll be around for so long. They let the blossoming trees carry the louder message.
