We enjoyed a colorful drive on Monday to a cider mill and then ate some delicious burgers. Yesterday was another pretty October day. I enjoyed a walk in the morning and Jacob and I spent some time by the Au Sable River while Kristi was in driver’s training. I love this time of year!
It’s been a beautiful warm day here in Northern Michigan. The kids and I had a picnic at Hartwick PInes and enjoyed a colorful October day.
I was going to cut my walk short this morning but it was so pretty I decided against it.
Jacob, Zachary and I walked to the lake this morning and watched the sunrise.
Jacob is 13 today which means I’m the mom of 5 teens. He wanted a candy bar cake for his birthday, so Kristi made a luscious looking cake for him.
Monday was a nice fall day so the kids and I took advantage of it and went for a hike in the afternoon at Marl Lake. It’s great to get outdoors and enjoy the beauty of each season.
