Last Saturday our youth group had a pancake breakfast to raise money for snow camp. That evening we went to the lighted Christmas parade in downtown Mt. Pleasant. Last night Kevin and I went to the candlelight Christmas walk through Dow Gardens. I’m enjoying the Christmas season. Now we just need some snow!
We had a great time celebrating Chuk and Cecilia’s wedding, Thanksgiving and Kristi’s birthday.
It was a perfect morning for a walk. The sky is a beautiful blue and the sun is shining. I love days like this!
We left home Friday evening to visit with family and enjoyed a reunion with Kevin’s family on Saturday.
Yesterday the boys and I had a picnic lunch and went swimming at Higgins Lake. Getting in the water was a great way to cool off on a hot day.
Since Luke was at camp on his birthday, we celebrated it late with a cake and meal of his choice when he returned home.
We celebrated Josiah’s 13th birthday yesterday. The weather was beautiful. We had our traditional pancakes for breakfast. Zachary, Josiah and I rode our bikes through the parks. I had a wonderful birthday yesterday. The weather was great and I enjoyed my morning walk. We took Nicholas to Camp Barakel and I got to see Luke, Jacob, Taylor and Lydia for a bit.
