Melting Snow and Ice

It’s warm and sunny here today and we have warm days in store for the rest of this week. I saw two ducks on the lake this morning on a patch of open water. Spring seems to be arriving early this year which is fine with me.

March has arrived and it looks like we’ll be getting quite a bit of snow tonight.  I enjoyed my walk this morning. There were lots of fishermen out on the lake today. As much as I love winter and snow, I’m looking forward to the arrival of spring later this month.  

Enjoying Winter

Winter got off to a late start here and we haven’t had as much snow as some years. This week we got some fresh snow which I was happy to see. The boys did some shoveling in the morning and then in the afternoon we walked to the hill and had fun sledding.
