We got our Christmas tree yesterday. A generous friend let us cut one of her trees from her property. It was a pretty drive and fun walking around in the snow among all the beautiful trees. Zachary The tree Warming up with hot chocolate
It was cold when I walked this morning but it was nice to see a little sun and some blue sky.
Today Zachary and Josiah joined me for my walk. The walk lasts longer when they are with me since they like to take breaks and have some fun along the way – like making snow angels.
We are supposed to get more snow today and in the next few days. That’s okay with us since we have fun in it! Jacob walked with me to the lake this morning and Zack, Nick and Josiah enjoyed playing out in the snow while we were gone.
When I walked to the lake this morning, I noticed that some ice is forming on the water. There’s still lots of open water though.

My oldest brother started a tradition a few years back of taking a walk after we eat our Thanksgiving meal.
We had a nice visit with our families for Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving morning, Jacob, Nicholas, Zachary, Josiah and I walked to the school playground and the outdoor education area. It was cold but fun.
