It’s hard to believe that it’s only 19 more days until it’s officially Spring! Of course Spring can be a little slow to arrive here. For now the kids have been enjoying all of the snow we have. Zack and Josiah warming up with some hot chocolate on the deck
This afternoon Kevin M. rode his bike while Luke and I walked on the lake. It’s a beautiful sunny February afternoon. It’s 35 degrees outside which feels quite warm after some of the really cold days we’ve had this winter. It was so refreshing to get outside and enjoy this sunny day.
I decided this afternoon to do a little cross country skiing instead of taking a walk. Luke joined me and I found 35 minutes of skiing wore me out more than an hour of walking. It definitely energized me to get outside and enjoy some fresh air and exercise.
I took a shorter than normal walk this morning since it was a little cold but it was still a beautiful February morning. I love the boost I get enjoying the fresh air and God’s beautiful creation.

Last Saturday when the weather was warmer and it was more enjoyable to be outside than the last couple of days, Kristi made a snowman. We’ve had lots of snow to enjoy this winter and it looks like we might get another inch or two today.
My kids were eager to get outside this morning to enjoy the snow. They have lots of fun sledding on the snow pile and playing inside the tunnels they made.

Today we’re celebrating Zachary’s 7th birthday. Kevin took Zachary and me out for breakfast this morning and brought home some Paczkis for everyone to enjoy.
It’s hard to believe it’s February already. I had a nice walk this morning. There were several ice fishermen out on the lake. When I got back home my kids were outside having fun in the snow. Luke in the tunnel Nick Kristi Skateboarding in the snow?
