We went to Tahquamenon Falls while we were vacationing last week. It was a beautiful warm and sunny day.
We didn’t do any camping this summer but we did enjoy staying in a cabin in the Upper Peninsula. We enjoyed walking to the fishing pier on South Manistique Lake, campfires and the recreation room in the basement.
Last week we drove to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula for our second week of vacation. It was a beautiful day for a drive and Nicholas got to drive over the bridge for the first time.
We took advantage of the beautiful weather yesterday and went for a hike.
The boys and I picked Luke up from camp on Saturday so he can spend a week of vacation with us. It was a beautiful day for a drive.
We traveled downstate last week and spent a couple of days visiting with family. The sun was rising on a beautiful day on our trip down and we drove through some heavy thunderstorms on the way home. Jacob got some experience driving through the heavy rain.
In contrast to yesterday’s cloudy morning, the sun was shining brightly and the skies were blue today.
It wasn’t very warm yesterday for swimming, but the guys enjoyed the lake with some canoeing and a little fishing.
