I got an early walk in this morning. Now that July is here, I’m hoping for warmer and sunnier days than we had in June.

Pretty Scenery

On our way to drop Kristi and Luke off at camp yesterday, we stopped at a scenic overlook in Mio. We’ve driven by there several times in the past without stopping. Yesterday we took some time to enjoy the scenery.

Breezy Day

We went to the lake yesterday afternoon to cool off since it was a hot day. There was a nice breeze coming off the lake. The kids had fun kayaking on the waves.

Fun Day

The weather was great yesterday for Memorial Day. We cooked out, swam, had a campfire and three of the kids had a back yard camp-out.

It was a beautiful morning for a walk. The lake was nice and calm. It looks like we’ll enjoy a nice Memorial Day. I’m grateful to all who have served and given their lives to protect the freedoms we enjoy.
