I’m late in posting pictures from our vacation at the end of summer. We had a wonderful time camping at Clear Lake State Park and Indian Lake State Park. I have many fond memories of camping with my family as a young girl, camping with our kids and now camping with our granddaughters.
Kevin and I enjoyed some beautiful scenery at Iargo Springs and Lake Huron last Saturday.
The weather was beautiful yesterday for Mother’s Day, which was also Luke and Eve’s first anniversary. It’s always fun to spend time with family.
Kevin and I enjoyed our time at the Camp Barakel staff retreat that was held at InterVarsity’s Cedar Campus located in Michigan’s upper peninsula on beautiful Lake Huron. A bonus was some time with our granddaughters on the way there and back home.
It was a beautiful day on Friday and we enjoyed a trip with friends to Haehnle Sanctuary and Oak Park in Grand Ledge.
The first day of fall felt more like a hot summer day. With the temperature reaching 91° yesterday, we went to the lake and enjoyed some swimming.
We enjoyed more camping last week and had a great time with family.
I enjoyed walking yesterday morning as the sun was rising. Later in the day Kevin and I went for a walk at Bay City State Recreation Area and then to a Loons game in the evening. The weather was perfect for enjoying the outdoors.
