Air Force Museum
We visited the Air Force Museum in Dayton while we were in Ohio. We had gone years ago when our older children were little and it was amazing how much more there was to see.
Life
Buck Creek
We had a nice time in Ohio during our second week of vacation. We stayed in a cottage at Buck Creek State Park the first two nights we were there.
Binder Park Zoo
During our second week of vacation we went to Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek.
Clear Lake
We had lots of fun camping at Clear Lake State Park. Clear Lake is a beautiful lake like Higgins Lake but smaller. We enjoyed some swimming, kayaking, hiking, biking, campfires and visiting with Kevin and Angelee. The weather was gorgeous although we got some rain when we were packing up to go home.
Bike Ride
Yesterday afternoon the boys and I rode our bikes on the trails to the park and then to the lake. The weather was perfect for a ride.
Summer
Last night was a pleasant evening to sit by the fire. After making a few s’mores, the kids had some fun with sparklers.Today is another beautiful August day and I enjoyed the beauty of the green trail, the lake and some wildflowers on my walk. We’re enjoying summer while we can.
Josiah’s Birthday
July is a busy birthday month at our house. We ended July celebrating Josiah’s birthday.
