Boat Ride

Saturday evening we took turns going for a ride on my Dad’s boat which he is letting us borrow for a bit. It was lots of fun

First Week of July

Warm beautiful days, visiting with Kristi and Kevin M. at camp, ice-cream, fishing, swimming, parades, grilling burgers, fireworks, campfires and sparklers are many of the things we’ve enjoyed this week. We are blessed!

Picnic

Last Tuesday, Kevin cooked some burgers for us and we enjoyed a nice picnic at North Higgins Lake State Park. I love summer when it’s so pleasant to be outdoors.

Garden

Yesterday the boys and I planted some vegetables and flowers. Nick worked hard putting up the fence around the garden. Hopefully we’ll have some fresh vegetables to enjoy this summer.

Pleasant Morning

While I was walking this morning, I saw lots of other people out walking, biking and running. It’s a great morning to enjoy some fresh air and exercise. When I got home, Kevin and Taylor were getting some mowing done. The lake was beautiful this morning. Kevin M.

A nice day is in store for us today. It was very pleasant walking this morning and the lake was nice and calm.

New Look

Thanks to my computer savvy husband, my site has a new look and I have my own domain name now.

Deer

Kevin and I enjoyed a beautiful drive through farm land last evening. Kevin spotted this deer in a field as we were driving home. It was fun watching it bound through the field to the woods.

Flowers

Yesterday afternoon the kids and I hiked the CCC fitness trail. I enjoyed the various flowers we spotted while we were there.
