It was cold this morning and there was a little snow on the ground when Kevin and I went for a walk. When we got back home, Zachary and Josiah had the drive shoveled.

I drove to Camp Barakel to pick up Luke yesterday. It was a beautiful day for a drive. On the way home, the sky was ablaze as the sun was setting. The pictures I took through the van window as we traveled, don’t do justice to the beauty we saw.

I am seeing and hearing more feathered friends when I walk now. The trail is clear of snow with the exception of a few small patches. The amount of open water on the lake continues to increase. I’m thankful that spring, slowly but surely, has arrived!
It was a great day to be outdoors. The boys and I hiked the CCC Fit Trail. We spotted a Christmas ornament hanging on one of the pine trees.

March is definitely ending on a nice note. It’s sunny today and supposed to get to 50°.
A light rain was falling when I started my walk and by the time I finished the rain had changed to a light, wet snow. It’s icy, slushy, wet and messy out there today. In spite of the mess I was glad to get outdoors.
