Reedsburg Dam
After eating supper in Houghton Lake we stopped by Reedsburg Dam this evening. It’s been a beautiful day. It was nice to enjoy some fresh air without having to be all bundled up and it’s nice to see bare ground again.

Starting my day with a walk is always great and it’s even better when the sun is shining. I saw a pair of geese this morning, a blue jay, a duck and a couple of sea gulls. I’m hopeful that winter has finally lost its grip here.
Maybe we’ll start enjoying weather this week that is more like spring. We got a fresh batch of snow last week. Today’s forecast is for 60°and rain which sounds much better for this time of year. It’s nice to see more open water and less ice on the lake.
I enjoy watching the lake and trail change as the weather grows warmer.
Zachary bought a new Red Ryder BB gun. He and Josiah had some fun last evening shooting together.
After warmer temperatures had melted much of our snow, we woke up to a fresh batch of snow. Hopefully it will all melt soon and we’ll enjoy some warmer days.
Sunny and 45° is the forecast for today. It was definitely a beautiful morning for a walk. I watched ice fishermen testing the ice before they drove their 4 wheelers out further on the lake to do some fishing.
