I drove to Camp Barakel to pick up Luke yesterday. It was a beautiful day for a drive. On the way home, the sky was ablaze as the sun was setting. The pictures I took through the van window as we traveled, don’t do justice to the beauty we saw.
Friday Fun
Yesterday afternoon, Zachary, Josiah and I went for a bike ride. After supper we went to Marl Lake to take some pictures and then watched the sunset at South Higgins Lake State Park. The guys built a fire when we got home.
Mother’s Day
My family is so good to me and I enjoyed a wonderful Mother’s Day. We went to South Higgins Lake State Park to watch the sunset and enjoy the beautiful evening.
Exciting Weekend
We had a fun and exciting weekend celebrating Lydia’s graduation from Cedarville University. Friday was her pinning ceremony, Saturday was her graduation with a party afterward and Sunday we helped her and Taylor move. It was fun having all of our family together. Sunset
Last Friday when Jacob, Josiah and I were heading home from shopping, we stopped to enjoy a beautiful sunset over the Houghton Lake Flats.
Buck Creek
We had a nice time in Ohio during our second week of vacation. We stayed in a cottage at Buck Creek State Park the first two nights we were there.
Clear Lake
We had lots of fun camping at Clear Lake State Park. Clear Lake is a beautiful lake like Higgins Lake but smaller. We enjoyed some swimming, kayaking, hiking, biking, campfires and visiting with Kevin and Angelee. The weather was gorgeous although we got some rain when we were packing up to go home.
