Cabin Fun

We didn’t do any camping this summer but we did enjoy staying in a cabin in the Upper Peninsula. We enjoyed walking to the fishing pier on South Manistique Lake, campfires and the recreation room in the basement.

Last week we drove to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula for our second week of vacation. It was a beautiful day for a drive and Nicholas got to drive over the bridge for the first time.

Luke

The boys and I picked Luke up from camp on Saturday so he can spend a week of vacation with us. It was a beautiful day for a drive.

Visit With Family

We traveled downstate last week and spent a couple of days visiting with family. The sun was rising on a beautiful day on our trip down and we drove through some heavy thunderstorms on the way home. Jacob got some experience driving through the heavy rain.

Fun Day

Scenic Overlook

After dropping Jacob and Nicholas off at Camp Barakel, we stopped at the scenic overlook in Mio. It was a hazy day so the sky wasn’t too blue but the scenery was still pretty.

Frankenmuth

Kevin, Kristi and I visited Frankenmuth yesterday. It was a beautiful day and I always love to spend time with my family.

Exciting Weekend

We had a fun and exciting weekend celebrating Lydia’s graduation from Cedarville University.
