Wildflowers

It was a bit chilly when I walked this morning but it was good to be outside. I enjoy looking for wildflowers when I walk. I was enjoying a peaceful walk until I was almost home and two very loud A-10s flew very low over our house.

Car Show and Ice Cream

We went to a near by state park after lunch to check out their car show and then Kevin treated us to ice cream on the way home.

Zach the Rock Collector

This morning, Nicholas and Zachary joined me for my walk. Zach loves to look for rocks. He collected several along the way this morning.

Pleasant Evening

Zachary and I went for a bike ride after supper last night and spotted some wildflowers along the trail. The kids discovered a Robin’s nest in the shrub in front of our house.

Back Home

I enjoyed our trip to Chicago last week but it’s good to be back home. Kevin, Kristi and I went for a walk this morning. It’s a beautiful day and everything is looking lots greener. John Hancock Center

Kevin and I enjoyed some spectacular views of Chicago and Lake Michigan from the observatory on the 94th floor of the John Hancock Center this afternoon.
