The guys made some corn hole boards and we’ve had fun playing it lately.

Great Summer Weather

It’s nice and warm here today. Luke, Zachary and I went for a walk this morning. We saw lots of chipmunks and wildflowers. We saw lots of birds, a duck and some fish. On the way home we saw a butterfly. It’s a beautiful summer day!

Trip Home

Yesterday, Luke had an eye appointment in Traverse City. Jacob tagged along to the Dr. visit. On our way home we took our time and stopped at a scenic overlook we’ve passed many times. Summer!

Summer officially arrived yesterday. We are having great weather today and it looks like a nice week is in store. Taylor joined me for my walk this morning.

First Lake Trip

We went to the lake yesterday evening for the first time this season. The kids got in the water and did some swimming but I only got in up to my knees. I’ll wait for warmer water to swim.
