Cold Morning
Our high today is only supposed to be 5°. It was cold this morning but I bundled up and ventured outside. I love to get outdoors even on cold days. It’s always more fun than exercising inside and the views are always better.
Parking Lot/Ice Rink
After sub zero temperatures earlier this week, it’s a balmy 36° and some rain showers have created icy conditions. The boys have taken advantage of the ice to do some skating and sledding.
Foggy January Morning
This week started off with very cold weather so when I was walking this morning 20° felt very warm. There are a few ice shanties on the lake now.
More Christmas 2013
A week ago we were celebrating Taylor and Lydia’s wedding and last night we were able to celebrate Christmas with them. It’s been an exciting week!
Snowman
It’s warm and sunny today. It’s amazing how warm 40° feels at this time of year. My boys took advantage of this nice day to make a large snowman.
Walking in a Winter Wonderland
I enjoyed winter’s beauty as I walked this morning. When I got back home my boys were ready to walk to the hill for some sledding.
Christmas 2013
I had a wonderful day celebrating Christmas with my family. It was a special blessing to have Kevin and Angelee with us.
