After a rainy day yesterday, I was glad to go for a walk this morning. The foggy, cool morning was great for a walk. The ferns are starting to turn yellow and brown and I noticed some leaves are changing color. I love summer but I’m looking forward to fall.

I got an early walk in today and enjoyed a beautiful sunrise.
Today’s forecast is calling for a high of 78° and sunshine. The sunrise this morning was beautiful.
Yesterday we went to St. Ignace to drop Kevin M. off for his ten day hike on the Hiawatha Shore to Shore trail.
Yesterday we spent a fun filled day at Michigan’s Adventure.
On Thursday we traveled to St. Ignace and enjoyed the beautiful northern shores of Lake Michigan. We had a picnic lunch and of course we stopped for some fudge while we were in the area.
Yesterday we traveled downstate to return Dad’s boat. We stopped at Cops and Doughnuts Bakery in Clare on our way. We had a nice visit with both sets of parents.
We are enjoying a two week vacation right now. Today we returned home from a week of camping at North Higgins Lake State Park. My Dad let us use his boat for the week so we had lots of fun going for boat rides, tubing and skiing. We had some rain the first two nights … Read more
This morning I went for a walk and watched the sunrise. The boys camped out in the yard last night. Jacob, Zachary and Josiah slept in the tents but Nicholas slept on the deck under the stars.
