Memorial Day
The weather was beautiful for Memorial Day yesterday. We walked to the lake and cooked hot dogs over the fire. It was a great day to spend some time outdoors.

Memorial Day Morning Walk
It’s a beautiful day here at Higgins Lake. On my way home from my walk, I passed the cemetery and I heard a bagpipe playing. They were having a Memorial Day service there. I’m thankful for all who have given their lives for the freedom we enjoy in this country.
Fire
It was a nice evening for a fire last night.
Mother’s Day
My family is so good to me and I enjoyed a wonderful Mother’s Day. We went to South Higgins Lake State Park to watch the sunset and enjoy the beautiful evening.
Exciting Weekend
We had a fun and exciting weekend celebrating Lydia’s graduation from Cedarville University. Rainy Morning
It’s been raining off and on this morning but I was able to go for a walk, Kevin, Nicholas and Josiah went for a run and we dropped off a load of leaves while it was dry.
Leaves
Even though we haul away several trailer loads of leaves in the fall there are always more in the spring after the snow melts.
