We went to Hartwick Pines Saturday afternoon. We managed to get a nice walk in before it started raining.

New Park

Yesterday while we were in town doing our shopping, the kids and I decided to check out a new park that was finished this summer. The park was very nice and the first day of Fall was great park weather.

Parade

I took my kids to the Firemen’s Memorial Festival parade this morning. We enjoyed the parade and the weather was great.

Picnic and Hike

Last Saturday was one of the warm, sunny days we’ve been enjoying this month. The kids and I packed a picnic lunch, went for a hike and swam. It was a great day to enjoy the outdoors.

Pretty September Morning

We have been enjoying some fabulous September weather. The lake was very calm this morning and there was some fog rolling over it. Some color is appearing in the trees. Fall will soon be here!

Mackinac Bridge Walk

We walked the Mackinac Bridge for the third year in a row. It was quite foggy when we started but as we walked the fog lifted. It was great weather for the walk.

Last Day of Vacation

Yesterday was our last day of vacation. We had a pleasant, sunny day to enjoy some local attractions. We visited the Grayling Fish Hatchery and the kids enjoyed feeding the fish. We also hiked the AuSable Trail at Hartwick Pines. It was a great day for hiking.
